You’ve got questions, I’ve got answers! –>
I get asked a lot of questions on Twitter, and as I’m trying very hard not to casually paint spoilers across my followers’ timelines, I thought it would be a good idea to start Q & A here on the blog where I would be able to answer things more thoroughly and people would have less of a chance to accidentally read something they didn’t want to.
So I came up with “Ask Elm” a column I will be regularly posting for the blog.
I will post the first set of Answers after I have ten questions. The questions can be about absolutely anything related to Pottermore. Simply fill out the form below, and thanks for contributing!

Hi Elm! Please make the Ravenclaw Sorting Bug public! Maybe then PM acknowledges it and tries to fix it. In German, Spanish and Italian it is ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE to get to Ravenclaw! Nobody who did the Sorting Hat test in these three languages in the last EIGHT MONTHS, will ever know if he has been sorted into the right house. That’s just so not fair. Please, try to fight against this injustice!

I also read that people are seeing your pottermore icon on chapter 6…right now on mine, it shows that you are on chapter three… I have no idea what is going on…
I looked again today, and it says that one of my friends is on chapter 9 of the Chamber of Secrets…. Hmmmmmm
Sorry, meant to reply to the original comment on it and somehow didn’t. Must have not saved. Please rest assured that no one can see anything in the chapters but the spinning circle on a black background. Basically if you change the chapter and moment number in the links you can “be on” a locked chapter. But it’s just a trick as you aren’t really doing anything and can’t really see anything while you are there.

The Next Volume of Ask Elm will probably come out this weekend. With CoS I’ve even getting a lot of questions that are time sensitive and responding to them via email. Once things calm down I will be putting it together.

i love ur blog but i have a question. when the second year opens, do you get more money in your account or do you have to save the money for each year?
Each year on your trip to Diagon Alley you will receive a new allowance of gold. So you just have to budget it long enough to make it to the next book.
When the second year opened for me, it said i would get new allowance from greengotts, but i still have the same amount of money I had before the house cup. Is this a glitch?
