Today, after days of radio silence from Pottermore, we got a burst of information from two sources. For myself, I saw the new post on the Pottermore Insider Blog first, then came the reports of e-mails hitting inboxes. At first I had nothing, but within twenty minutes of initial reports my phone was beeping and I had received it as well. Now it wasn’t the welcome e-mail we were all hoping for, but it was nice to know that they remembered we were all here waiting, anxiously. The letter is transcribed below. Read more
It’s been nearly three days since the close of Pottermore’s Magical Quill challenge, and if you are a registered beta tester you probably feel a lot like the guy in the picture atop this entry. Tired. Stressed. Impatient. And, lets face it, a little obsessed. I won’t deny my obsession, what else could have pushed me to sleep deprivation to see clue after clue when I’d already obtained registration on day one. OF COURSE I’M OBSESSED.
Wow! If you are a potterhead, this has been a truly amazing week. Kicking off on July 31st, the birthday shared by Harry Potter and his creator J.K. Rowling, with the anouncement of the Magical Quill Challenge. The challenge was designed to select one million beta testers for the new Harry Potter website POTTERMORE.
